Artist's Comments

Another experimental landscape piece, taken from the same series of photographs as Mass Transit (again, if you're the original author, please drop me a line to be credited). As before, I traced the photo to get the perspective right and then added in the details by hand.

The pencil isn't yet finished in the version you see here - I've since added some more tone to the figures in the foreground - but this is basically the finished sketch, prior to inking.

Thanks, I use a highly secret and arcane method to get the soft lines like that (a very blunt pencil).
